Once familiar with local roads, you can escape to remote isolation with stunning scenery or to town's steeped in history in equal measure. Morpha Nefyn beach is a wonderful secluded 'secret'.

Really lovely house, very clean and cosy, amazing views! Nice outdoor space too and lovely little touches such as a bottle of wine, firewood and tealights. Would love to come back to this beautiful part of the world. The beach at Morfa Nefyn is stunning!

Lovely cosy cottage overlooking sea. Grand location with all home comforts. Would book again. Only issue was parking, not huge but a pain when packing/unpacking car. All in all highly recommend!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at our holiday home from home. Thanks for booking with us and also for the compliment that you would book again. Just a note for future guests, we only have neighbours on one side as the other property is empty. The neighbours next door are lovely and if you need them to move one of their cars whilst you are staying there, they gladly will – please just ask them.

Clean, tidy, well equipped cottage, huge open plan lounge & dining area and modern kitchen. Comfortable beds. We had problems with the heating and the owners responded very quickly with telephone assistance and an heating engineer visit. Unfortunately, the issue couldn't be resolved during our weekend stay. The cottage has an open fire & log burner downstairs which made the area snuggly warm. Sadly the bedrooms were freezing so some backup heating upstairs would be a useful addition during the colder months. Window in the front bedroom still has a broken latch and was open when we arrived (I notice this is mentioned by a previous guest, so disappointing not repaired), although I believe the owners are due to stay the weekend after us, so hopefully all will be resolved.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your comments. You quite rightly said you had a problem with the heating and we responded within a couple of hours by calling out an emergency Heating Engineer. The Engineer found no problem with the boiler and was able to reset it without any trouble. He left you a note about this, including making sure the hot water was run with enough pressure to stop the boiler from overheating, which he suspected was what was happening. We arrived at the property on Friday morning (25/3) and have had no issues with the heating in the 5 nights we were there. Given that the property does have a log burner, open fire, and fully maintained central heating, additional heating is not required – I am sure you would agree that this would be a very inefficient and un-environmentally friendly way of heating a 3 bed house. As regards the window handle, unfortunately the previous guest elected to only mention this on Reevoo and did not contact us to let us know that the window handle was broken. My housekeeper didn’t notice it behind the venetian blind, so apologies about this maintenance issue. However, whilst we were at the house this weekend, my husband did manage to close the window and avoid the issue you had. I am so glad you enjoyed the comfort and equipment we like to afford all guests in our home from home and we are really glad you stayed with us.

A very lovely place to stay with every you need for a relaxing holiday. Only problem we had was that the house was cold when we arrived and the boiler was not working. we tried calling the owners and caretaker but we had no reply. we had to then drive out looking for fuel for the open fire to last us all night!! We eventually managed to get hold of the owner Saturday morning and was told to go outside and turn on the gas in the containers in the garden which really should not of been our responsibility. Also we found upstairs window handle was broken.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks so much for your lovely comments about our holiday home from home. I am sorry you were unable to contact us regarding the heating on the Friday, but we do leave details in the house file about our local Housekeeper. She was new that weekend to the property, so it would appear we had a few teething problems in terms of contact, for which I apologise to you. I am also sorry you felt it an inconvenience to go outside and turn the gas on upon arrival, but owing to fire risk, and dependent upon bookings, there are times where we have to turn the gas off for insurance purposes. I am sure you can understand the reasons for this. Our house file does detail how to turn the gas and the boiler on, so I am sorry you missed this in the information provided. In response to your comments, I have asked our new housekeeper to turn the gas on for incoming guests, so thanks for your feedback on this. I note your comment on the window handle, but would just ask that any future guests leave a note in the property about any breakages or maintenance issues they find so that I can have my handyman attend to them as soon as is practicable. I don’t always look on Reevoo as guests don’t always leave feedback, so I wasn’t aware of this issue, and was unable to resolve it for Charles above who came in after you, which disappoints me a lot as I really want everything to be “spot on” for all my guests. I am glad you had a nice holiday though!

Really well equipped cottage with great views. Nice and peaceful location and perfect with little ones. Slightly disappointed there was no wood provided for the first fire as the advert promised.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your lovely feedback on our holiday home. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with your family. I want to apologise regarding the lack of fuel for your first fire. We have since changed housekeepers, and have full arrangements in place to ensure all future guests will be provided with fuel for their first fire. Thanks for your invaluable comments and I hope your disappointment didn’t impact too much on your stay with us.
