Great location. It is very quiet and remote but this is exactly what we were looking for. The views from the house are magnificent of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. The house is very well equipment, spacious and clean. Taking a left turn out of the drive you can walk down to the sea and follow a cliff path around the bay, absolutely recommended. There is a Spar Supermarket in the village, a few pubs and Restaurants. We never used any of the Restaurants as we did our own cooking with the well equipped kitchen at the property. It a good 40min walk to the village and not recommended at night as the roads have no street lights. There is no WiFi connection at the property but I had no issue at one of the pubs in the village to connect to down-load emails. The location is perfect for touring the Connemara and Galway region. A visit to the towns of Cliftden and Galway is recommended. In conclusion a beautiful location and a very nice and well equipped property. I would without hesitation recommend it and I hope one day we get the opportunity to return for another holiday.

Second stay, beautiful location and perfect if you want peace and quiet. Even if the weather is not good, just sitting watching the changing sea and sky is pure relaxation. Within easy driving distance to Clifton, Westport, Cliffs of Moher and lots of mountain climbing. We can recommend Diamond Hill (don't be taken in by the word hill). The lettermore Islands have some lovely friendly pubs, local pubs seem a bit odd! Two wild Connemara horses visit daily for carrots and apples. We would certainly book again in a few years if the house was still available. Owners very accommodating and helpful.

Amazing place and would love to go again. Even though it's out in the middle of no where you soon get used to finding your way about. Kids loved the horses that lived in the field next door and the views are unbelievable. Wish I could wake up to them views every morning. Sean (owner) and his wife Helen were very helpful and always there to help with one call. Cottage was huge and really clean throughout. If you don't mind a bit of wind because your on the edge of the Atlantic, well this is perfect place whether it's for a family holiday or just a romantic break!!
