Beautiful barn, friendly owners. Animals around the house were nice. We loved it there!

Lovely cottage. It's clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and there were a plentiful supply of books and DVDs if we stayed in. The garden with its roaming geese and chickens was really nice to walk around and our daughter enjoyed the trampoline. We were Welcomed by friendly owner and dogs. We enjoyed the Delicious homemade cakes and wine which the owner kindly provided. There was no wifi which was a blessing in disguise for us - meant we enjoyed family games together and teenagers read books instead of online gaming! The property is off a fairly busy road with no pavement so we felt safer to drive somewhere if we wanted a walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Reysons barn. We would visit again but in a couple of years as we did see the majority of the sights, there are many, and would recommend cottage and area to friends. Slightly disappointed that the washing machine and dishwasher were not working properly as advised by owners, replaced the day we left, but owners did offer to do any washing we needed. No internet in cottage and teenagers loved trampoline, this may be because they had connection were trampoline located! Road was busier than anticipated and noise could be heard in morning as windows open due to hot weather. Great break had by all, owners friendly and relaxed.

Nice accommodation but did not like the animals ranging over "our" property and leaving excrement on the paths.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We were very surprised to read your review as the comments you left in the visitor’s book were very positive. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the barn, reflective of other guests scoring us highly, which extends to the surrounding areas, including the paths and patio. The majority of our guests enjoy our hens and our pet turkey and feed them, which is reflected in their "Reevoo" comments. Many of them are frequent visitors and ask after Mr Turkey!

Extremely warm welcome by owners, amazing central location to explore the local area. By far the best cottage we have ever stayed in before - child friendly, very comfortable furniture. The children loved the chickens and ducks. Highly recommended, anyone who stays here will not be disappointed.
