Located in the heart of the Cumbrian market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, Reuben’s offers comfortable accommodation with everything you could want right on the doorstep.

Centrally located in the market square and accessed via its own external staircase, Reuben’s occupies the first and second floor of this late 19th century building. On the first floor you will find a spacious living/dining room, well equipped kitchen and family bathroom, whilst on the second floor there are three nicely presented bedrooms. Outside there is a rooftop courtyard, ideal for that early morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun sets over the bustling village.
The ground floor of the building is occupied by an award winning café, tea merchants, cigar shop and wine cave. As well as serving breakfast, lunch and delicious homemade cakes with traditional leaf teas, the café also opens for dinner once a week showcasing the very best local produce. Another popular venue within the town is the local brewery, which apart from offering hand crafted beers, has live music weekly. Kirkby Lonsdale has an abundance of restaurants, cafés, real ale pubs and unique shops and boutiques which are frequented by locals and tourists alike. There is also a good sized supermarket and a weekly market is held in the town square every Thursday. The town hosts various events and festivals throughout the year bringing visitors back time after time.
Apart from offering all the amenities of a traditional Cumbrian town, Kirkby Lonsdale also serves as a gateway to both the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks, so it is the ideal base for those who love the great outdoors. Kirkby Lonsdale is surrounded by open countryside and there is a large network of scenic footpaths and bridleways. Apart from walking, cycling and horse riding the area is also a popular spot for fishing with good salmon and trout fishing in the River Lune. There is also a golf course within 4 miles, and of course being close to both the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales National Park there are many more adventurous outdoor pursuits on offer such as various water sports, climbing, caving and fell running to name but a few. Kendal is just a 20-minute drive away and you can be in Bowness-on-Windermere in just over half an hour. Over in Yorkshire, Ingleton with its caves and waterfalls is just 7 miles away, while Dent and Hawes are within a half hour drive and Skipton is approximately 45 minutes by car. Beach 13 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
