Arundel Castle is just 50 yards away and can be seem from this splendid Regency town house suitable for up to 12 guests.

Beautifully presented throughout, this splendid Grade II listed Regency town house offers wonderful views to historical Arundel Castle, which is only 50 yards away. Located in the heart of this quaint town, it is only a 2-minute walk from plentiful antique shops, pubs, restaurants, cathedral and lido, and near the Wildfowl and Wetlands for birdwatching. In keeping with the Regency era, the furnishings cleverly complement the period style, and are carefully co-ordinated and styled to enhance features such as the ornamental fire surrounds and large windows. The holiday accommodation is spacious, set over four floors, and with families in mind, there is a games room on the lower ground floor. Arundel is recognised for its castle and variety of historic buildings in a small area. Out of around 500 buildings in the conservation area, many are listed. The beautiful castle is referred to in the Domesday Book in 1086, and has been occupied by the Dukes of Norfolk and their families for over 850 years. The Victorian Catholic Cathedral was designed by Joseph Hansom, who also designed the Hansom cab.
Climping Beach is only a 5-minute drive, or slightly further, Worthing, Elmer or Littlehampton. Bustling Brighton is within 20 minutes’ drive, within the ornate Royal Pavilion, The Lanes for interesting artefacts, plentiful theatres, art galleries, extensive shopping, the marina with harbourside dining, and many amusements for all ages along the beach. Visit Chichester, with its beautiful ornate cathedral, theatre, pedestrianised shopping, tea rooms, harbour tours, Goodwood or Fontwell racing. Also within easy reach is the picturesque harbour village of Bosham with antiques, emporium and waterside cafe, or naval Portsmouth with Spinnaker Tower, designer shopping and waterside dining. In addition, various National Trust homes and gardens, excellent walking along the South Downs, golf, sailing, surfing, riding, and cycling can all be enjoyed nearby. Shops 50 yards.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. And it felt like a home not a holiday let. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely house very well equipped and located. Our group of ten appreciated the very comfortable beds with lovely linen and towels. Extras such as loo rolls, soap and cleaning products made our stay easy. Loved the fact that we were trusted with artifacts, rugs and other things of value which we took great care of. The outhouse was a bonus as was the terrace garden. The owner is very accommodating and easy to deal with. We have already decided to book again next year just need to get our diaries sorted. One valid comment made a member of our party is that the house would be perfect if there were a bathroom on the top floor. Would definitely recommend Regents House and Arundel in general to family and friends - indeed we have already done so .

Arundel and Regent House were in a perfect location for us. Plenty of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Pleasant walks along the river. Only a few miles from the sea.
