Enjoyed the cottage but found the soft furnishings a bit tired. Could not close the curtains as they were stuck on the rails. Nevertheless we would stay again as the location was superb.

This apartment was very nice and clean, it was within walking distance of the local hotel which sold very nice meals, which although slightly pricey was worth the money. Also a local shop and pub. A nice coffee shop and small antique shop. This was a good base to visit our family who live within all lived within a 15 mile radius in various directions. Being used to having a car at my disposal, I did find not having a car the first couple of days I felt a bit isolated, although there was no real reason to feel that as there is a very good bus service, which we used to go to St Andrews the day before getting a hire car. The couple who own this property are very nice and live next door. We had a slight problem with the heating, so I phoned the contact number, they had the issue sorted within 30 mins. This is an upstairs apartment and is not suitable for disabled wheelchair users, but they do have a one bed apartment downstairs, which I think may be.
