The cottage had everything that was needed, but I agree with other users, it needs a bit of TLC and a jolly good spring clean. While everything looked clean, worksurfaces, floors etc., clearly no-one vacuums under the furniture, the kitchen tiled splashbacks had food spots on them, and the extractor fan housing was really greasy. Also lots of things were broken or not working - missing door knobs, broken kitchen drawer, one half of the toaster wouldn't function, and more. Adequate, but I wouldn't classify it as luxury.

The stables are beautiful BUT... the very first time I opened the kitchen draw it fell apart in my hand... the knob on the wardrobe door in the main bedroom did the same... there weren't enough towels for each of our party to have one... the external and internal windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years, that bad my mother-in-law cleaned the internal ones because she couldn't bear looking at them.... the BBQ was filthy and unusable... no teatowel left... but my biggest gripe were the two kettles in the property, completely full of limescale, something I wouldnt have noticed, only I was filling my babies bottles and there was a centimeter of white sediment in the bottle... just discusting!!! A note for families... if you are taking a baby and ask for the travel cot a sheet is not provided... a single one was supplied at 10.30pm... a late night for a baby... On a brighter note... the views were to die for... the patio idyllic... and it was an ideal location to visit nearby attractions... The stable just needs a little tlc... if you can't cope with the cleaning, hire someone in to do it for you please ..

We had a really lovely holiday here. It was nice to come back to a picturesque and tranquil cottage at the end of a busy day with the kids. It's an ideal location to holiday from with Weymouth, Sand Banks, Bournemouth etc nearby. The cottage itself is lovely, but could do with a little TLC. Having said that, there are some lovely touches, from the cake on arrival to the hidden fairies in the rafters for the kids to search for. We had hoped that we could put a travel cot in the mezzanine level of the master bedroom but, alas, the ceiling height was too restrictive to do it comfortably - it's more for a toddler/young child. You cannot fault the setting. The farm was peaceful and the kids loved the animals being around. Raine (owner) is also a lovely host, very good with the kids and made us feel at home straight away.

We have had a wonderful time in this spacious cottage. Shame it was so short. We will be back in the spring or summer to enjoy the lovely terraces!
