Had a very good week. Really enjoyed the site and lodge. Everything was very clean on the surface however, the kitchen cupboards inside were dirty and sticky, the sofa was extremely dusty behind it, and we had to clean the vacuum cleaner out before we could use it as it was blocked up.

Great place to stay but a bit too small for a party of 7 - there were only 6 dining chairs and very little space for them. The water mill was brilliant and it was lovely being free to wander around it and use the boats.

A very pleasant location and the staff at the Calbourne Water Mill made us feel privileged,I would recommend this holiday, roaming peacocks kept our teenage grandchildren enthralled, the only down side was poor Internet connection, this might seem trivial but the information you can access whilst on holiday, places reservations Trip advisor, maps, beach scores etc. is invaluable, but overall a pleasant stay.

beautiful log cabin very spacious in lovely location. slightly spoilt by the peacocks which were continually on the veranda waiting to be fed. we were unable to have the patio door open or to sit outside to enjoy the views so don't visit when the weather is hot.
