We had a fabulous stay at Red Kite View during Christmas week 2016. We arrived on a cold, wet & windy day but the welcome inside the cottage was warm and cosy. A lovely welcome basket of festive treats, milk in the fridge and fresh flowers too. Clean, tidy & attractive with everything we could possibly need. We could not have been closer to the Red Kite feeding site......waking up to the dawn chorus of red kites calling was fantastic.

We had a wonderful weekend's stay here, hosts were wonderfully friendly and gave us great directions for a couple of beautiful local walks to do with the dogs. The feeding station itself was an incredible experience, so wonderful to see the Red Kites so close up. Highly recommend Red Kite View to anyone.

We had a really lovely week here. Everything we wanted was in the cottage. The owners were very welcoming and could not have been nicer, the milk, cakes and flowers were a very lovely touch. The cottage is very isolated but that is what we loved about it and the red kite feeding station was on the door step.

We were very comfortable, the cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. It was very warm and the showers were probably the best we've experienced in such a property. The welcome pack of cakes, biscuits and milk was also much appreciated.

Spotlessly clean first floor apartment. Plenty of outside leisure and storage space. Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts who provided a most useful welcome pack of essentials - they are obviously used to meeting their guests' immediate needs upon arrival (a cuppa made with fresh milk). Free entry to the nearby Red Kite Feeding Station, run by the apartment owner, was a bonus. Lovely location for walking, mountain biking, relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors. All the members of our family, including our dog, had a restful short break and we would unreservedly recommend this apartment to others. Many thanks!

Enjoyed a peaceful weekend here. The flat was warm and cosy with everything that you needed. The en-suite showers were extremely good. The location is excellent if you enjoy walking as the roads are quiet and there are many walks nearby. We visited the red kite feeding station twice and really enjoyed both visits, it is quite spectacular. Although you do have to wrap up as the wind seems to blow into the hide. We would not hesitate to recommend the cottage to friends and we are quite likely to visit again in the future.
