Lovely place to stay and a very tasty welcome pack. Was cosy and warm even though it was horrible weather outside. Amazing seeing all the red kites flying outside the window. Our dog loved watching the sheep sat on the window seat. Quite a distance to get to local towns but great if you like getting away from it all.

Great location for seeing the red kites however; we were at least 25 minutes away from anything that we wanted to visit.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. if you like pubs restaurants, and shops etc on your doorstep then our holiday lets are not for you . Cottages.com make it clear where we are and how far the nearest amenities are and we rely on peoples common sense to check on google maps to see where we are located ,people come here for the walking and the peace and quiet and also mainly for our wonderful Red Kites. Really disappointed that you gave us a 5 for cleanliness considering we spoke to you several times when you viewed the Red Kites for free and said everything was great . People before and after you gave us a 10 as do other guests and we take great pride in our holiday lets .

We had mixed feelings about booking an apartment, but Red Kite View was cosy, clean and comfortable. The location was remote, but easy to find and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners upon arrival. The cottage was also perfectly placed to explore Llyn y fan and the Usk reservoir area. The proximity to the Red Kite feeding station was fantastic. To be able to watch the birds begin to gather from the apartment window and then a short walk to watch the birds feed was an incredible experience. We would certainly recommend Red Kite View to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Very well placed for exploring the Brecons. In the middle of the park so make sure you bring supplies. The Faulkners were very kind and had cake, tea and milk waiting for us when we arrived. Comfortable and well looked after.

We would be back, if it wasn't for the layout and changes in levels. Wonderful views from nearly all windows. Comfortable living area. Mattresses firmer than we are used to, but livable. Hosts very helpful and accommodating. Came home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Many thanks.

We had a fabulous stay at Red Kite View during Christmas week 2016. We arrived on a cold, wet & windy day but the welcome inside the cottage was warm and cosy. A lovely welcome basket of festive treats, milk in the fridge and fresh flowers too. Clean, tidy & attractive with everything we could possibly need. We could not have been closer to the Red Kite feeding site......waking up to the dawn chorus of red kites calling was fantastic.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; So happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you enjoyed watching and listening to the Red Kites. We look forward to seeing you again.
