Enjoy walking and cycling in this beautiful part of Suffolk, or simply relax in the large garden and appreciate the views.

In the heart of the Suffolk countryside you will find Red Barn Cottage, a lovingly restored barn conversion with a light, airy and fresh décor. Adjacent to the owners’ home, this semi-detached property has open plan living spaces and large bright bedrooms. This is both an ideal base from which to explore but also relax after a day seeing all the places Suffolk has to offer. The large enclosed garden is a sun trap and looks over to the undulating countryside.
Set in the village of Kettleburgh, Red Barn Cottage is very close to the beautiful market town of Framlingham. Mentioned in the Doomsday Book, its 12th-century castle still stands, and visitors can walk the curtain wall and enjoy the fantastic views. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is easily accessible by car, where you can visit Southwold, Aldeburgh and England’s most easterly point, Lowestoft. The cottage has a lovely kitchen - well equipped ( a garlic press and vegetable steamer would be a good addition). There is a good sized living and dining area and utility area. Upstairs is large, bright and airy with a lovely bathroom. I did feel that the mattress on the main bed was quite uncomfortable and needs replacing. The garden is very enclosed (good for our dog). There are plenty of places to visit within 20-30 minutes drive.

This is a well appointed comfortable cottage in a good location for visiting tourist attractions and for cycling. The local pub serves very good food in large portions.

A very comfortable, well equipped, and clean, cottage. Thoughtful touches like tea/coffee/biscuits, milk and juice in fridge on arrival, dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent provided. 3 miles to local shops but Sainsburys deliver. Quiet location but attractions/beaches nearby. Be wary of narrow lanes and tractors. One of the best self catering places we have stayed in.

An exceptionally well designed and well equipped cottage, with excellent heating, in a lovely quiet location.
