A hidden gem. The perfect retreat for peace and quiet. The cottage was spotlessly clean and warm. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. We loved it and will definitely be returning.

Rectory Cottage was delightful, comfortable and had everything that one could wish for. Erica was the perfect host and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was very helpful with local walks, etc. My one and only criticism (which isn't really that important) was that I would have liked softer toilet tissue!

The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you could want and more. The hot tub is one of the best we have used. Erica is very welcoming and usually meets you on arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Private, secluded and peaceful, a perfect location if you want to be near to Lincoln and within access of the coast (40 mins away). The owner is really lovely and approachable and on hand if there are any problems (not that we had any). There is a beautiful conservatory where we spent most of our time in which overlooks the garden (which attracts many different birds) and hot tub. We imagine the conservatory could be too hot in the summer but it was perfect this time of year especially with the underfloor heating. Also, nothing better than being outside in a hot tub if it is raining or snowing! Nice little extras supplied too such as detergents, cloths, etc., as well as a welcome supply of eggs, milk, home made flapjacks and bread! The log burner is in the lounge area and is very efficient but we didn’t use it much as we spent most of our time in the conservatory. Logs supplied for one fire and if you want more the local shops sell them. The broadband clocked at 9.2 mbps so fast enough for anything you want to use. The TV in the lounge is a smart tv with itv hub, iplayer etc., ordinary tv in the bedrooms. Beds really comfy and in general the furnishings and equipment are of a much higher than usual standard for a cottage (le creuset tea set for example). This cottage has been well thought out by the owner and is a credit to her hard work and vision. You won’t be disappointed.

We had such a wonderful break at Rectory Cottage, it catered for all of our needs and it was just so beautiful. Erica ensured we had a warm welcome and made the most amazing flapjacks which went down extremely well after our lovely countryside walks with a nice cup of tea. I can't wait to re-book again for next year.

We have been to many holiday homes over the years and without doubt this is the best ever. Beautiful, tastefully decorated, well maintained, fantastic surroundings, quiet, peaceful location. Perfect for recharging the batteries and a hot tub to boot what more could you ask for. Just about to book for March!

Absolutely beautiful cottage exactly what we were hoping for total relaxation. Erica was the perfect host and had thought of everything to make our break most enjoyable and bakes a mean cake. Would definitely return no question.

Rectory Cottage is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. It's owner is welcoming and very helpful. The location is tranquil - we enjoyed the sight of squirrels, pheasants, quail and the owner's free range hens not to mention the sound of an owl one night. There was a handy sheet containing good walks as well as notes on the nearby eateries. Lincoln is ten miles away and there are many other places of interest nearby including Tattershall Castle, Belton House, Horncastle and the coast. We could have happily spent another week there and usually we are pleased to be going home. We only used the hot tub once because of the weather but it was an unexpected bonus to the holiday.

I stopped here with my sister and respective husbands. The house looked even better than it did on the website and was extremely comfortable. The whole cottage was done to high spec. We had bad weather and unable to use the hot tub but there was even spa towels for our use. Erika the owner was very helpful and friendly. Couldn't fault our stay at all. There was graduations going on in Lincoln town so will probably go back next year to finish our sight seeing as the Cathedral was being use.
