The owners were very welcoming to my dogs and I, and were happy to help with anything should it be needed. The cottage was nice and clean when I arrived and again when I returned for my 2nd week. The large garden area is securely fenced off so dogs can be left to play outside without worry. The local amenities rating is 5 (n/a in my book) because I haven't used any so can't really comment.

We really enjoyed this place, very nice well thought out self contained unit, a visit threw the field to The Queens head pub is a must, They supplied a BBQ which we used, and you even get your own frog choir at night Loved it, we will be returning

A very friendly warm welcome, by Andrew, and a nice welcome cake by Penny set the tone, for a very peaceful holiday. the area had nice walks to Battle, or Hastings, or if you had dogs, some nice short walks too. Also the cottage was ideally situated for driving to local attractions.

Andrew was a great host. The location was easy as it is on the A21. I would definitely stay here again.

Quince Cottage was in a beautiful setting on a working farm, with friendly and hospitable hosts. It's fairly small, with little headroom in the upstairs bed area, but all basic needs are supplied and it was warm and cosy despite poor weather.
