Lovely big house. Lots to do at the house in the way of games and sport. Owner Steave really helpful. Sorted any problems and even found somewhere in town where the boys could watch the World Cup rugby not that they needed to go out as all the English chanels were on the TV. It was a good break

Steave the owner was great and very helpful. On site was a well equipped Gym, Games Room, Table Tennis Room and Tennis Court with Basketball net. There was also a Boules pitch and an outside, quite large, prefabricated pool (a bit chilly at first as not heated, but once in it was great). Just 1 hour drive from Calais or Dunkirk. The village is in easy walking distance with bakery, butchers, tobacconist and even a chip shop (selling chips & Pizza). There is a good Supermarket just 10 minutes drive with petrol station. The beds were a bit basic and climbing to the 3rd floor bedrooms up the steep stairs was a challenge but the house was clean and had all the facilities required. It did not have a washing machine but Steave offered to wash anything if required. The local Supermarket had an external launderette that cost just a few euros to wash & dry. The local restaurant Le Grange was beautiful, food great and well priced but slightly too far to walk. We had 8 adults and 4 children and all had a great time. There are a couple of tenants on site and the info did say you shared the facilities. During the week they were at work so didn't see them. Weekend they did sometimes use the pool or games room but they were very polite, friendly and respected our privacy. Our 21 year old grandson actually got friendly with them and are now friends on Facebook. We wanted all the family together and I struggled to get a house big enough. Once booked I did worry, but didn't need to. I would strongly recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in that area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the house! The value for money is outstanding! Being so close to the nearby village is great, with a short walk to the bakery and butchers. The house itself is lovely and couldn't ask for more. The facilities are great, though note the tennis court is not full size which was disappointing. But overall a fantastic stay!

Excellent place to stay if you just want to relax and use all the entertainment provided at the house. Easily accommodated 2 families and a nanny. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Gave us access to his wood and we had a bbq every evening. The only disappointment was that the WiFi is only available in the kitchen area.
