The Belgian city of Bruges is an hour away, or visit the sandy beaches and resorts of the Côte d’Opale, including Le Touquet, Hardelot and Wimereux, all with superb golf courses. Boulogne with its National Sealife Centre or the WW2 Museum at La Coupole make excellent days out for the whole family, or spend a day at the family amusement parks of Parc Astérix or Bagatelle.
