We were very pleased with everything apart from the cleanliness of the bathroom. The toilet had black pubic hairs on the seat, there was also some in the bath area. The sink was very dirty underneath the basin as well in and taps had toothpaste on them. I actually cleaned the bathroom before we could use it. In the kitchen there were lots of pans which were covered in grease and saucepans not washed. Cobwebs all around.

We stayed at this house, again, from 10th to 17th October 2015. The house was immaculately clean, so 10/10 to the cleaners. Over the years this house has had 'make-overs' carried out but , in my humble opinion, the kitchen and bathroom are in need of some updating. We had a problem with the heater in the back bedroon, but this was speedily and successfully sorted out after a phone call to the contact . Many thanks to them for doing this. We enjoyed our stay at this property and would book it again.

Very clean , beds were a bit too firm, but had extra bedding etc if needed. A washing machine would have been handy. Excellent location.

A wonderful place to stay. The view from the balcony is wonderful and its only a 5 min walk to the town of Bowness. Garage is a great extra, safe place to leave your car. Some of the furnishings are a bit tired, but still a comfy stay.
