We stayed at Quarme Coombe cottage for a short break with family (including a toddler and a dog) and had a lovely time, despite the inclement weather. The location is great if you just want to hide away for a while or as a base to drive out from and explore the area further. The rooms were of a good size and very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Unfortunately the high chair and cot we had pre-booked were not there on arrival (we didn't chase them up as we had brought a travel cot and booster chair as back up) and the road number on the directions we received was wrong (two digits had been swapped) but none of the above was detrimental to our break. Useful information: The bunk room is located downstairs, off the lounge so may not be suitable for younger families. Signage could also be improved from the road - it's very difficult to see unless you've already guessed which drive you need - and would be virtually invisible if arriving in the dark.

Loved the house and the location. The only downside is we aren't dog lovers and the house was very 'dog'. Easy access to the washing machine would have be good. If you have a dog then this is THE house for you. The area is amazing and the house is really full of character.

A lovely warm and cosy cottage in an idyllic spot. Perfect for a weekend away. Unfortunately we were in Somerset attending a wedding and the cottage had absolutely nowhere to hang clothes and no ironing board. We managed!

Lovely quiet cottage. We were lucky with the weather & that nobody was in the cottage next door. Overall a very relaxing week.

A lovely cottage - exactly as expected from the photos. Well located for driving to wimbleball lake to watch the ironman. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
