Central Stratford location

This small, ground floor studio apartment is situated on the banks of the picturesque canal in the very centre of Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon. The area offers a magical blend of heritage and drama in and around Shakespeare’s home town. This is an ideal holiday base for anyone wishing to enjoy Stratford’s attractions. It is near to theatres including the worlds largest classical theatre company, shops and historic houses, exhibitions and great traditional markets. The studio overlooks the narrow-boat moorings alongside a canal-side pub. A car is not required in Stratford, but there are plenty of interesting places to visit in the surrounding countryside. Shop and restaurant 200 yards, pub 50 yards.

Disappointed to find the oven had not been cleaned and a tray with crumbs was grease was found left inside the oven, and a layer of grease on the oven door.

Very centrally located, ideal for visiting Stratford. Parking space was very useful as well. Really enjoyed our stay. Clearer information on rubbish collection days would be the only are for improvement as there were various leaflets that said different days and no schedule to show which type of rubbish was being collected each week.

We stayed here in February and dust less this time, but I think they need a window cleaner, but overall it was fab for s.u.a for 2. The festival was on that we didn't know about and beautiful weather. It's just good to see the barges go past on the canal from your window.

This was my sixth or seventh visit to Puck's Place, a fact that reflects my view that it must be the perfect small rental for a visit to Stratford. It is central, only a couple of hundred yards from the theatre and less than that to two pubs and M&S; it has private parking and a view directly onto the canal. Yes, it is small but everything works within its compact design. The only drawback for visitors staying for a week is the lack of a washer-dryer, for which there is no room. Its location enables it to be at the heart of Stratford's busy activity yet in a quiet fold of its own. I hope to return yet gain.

Puck's Place was exactly what I needed, a central base in Stratford, from which I could walk to anywhere in the centre of Stratford. It was particularly convenient for a vist to the theatre, and I would consider staying there again on future visits.

A compact little place, perfect for one or two people and only a hop skip and jump from Stratford town centre and the RSC. Lovely aspect overlooking the canal - nice to watch the ducks, people and barges passing by. Housekeeping could be slightly improved upon but overall a very comfortable, cosy place and excellent value for money. Much enjoyed and will certainly be going back!

Pros-The studio is situated in a great location. It is like stepping back in time to my grand mothers kitchen but is well equipped. Comfortable Cons-The bathroom had very little toilet roll and this should have been sorted by the caretaker. There is no WiFi which would be helpful The bed was the most uncomfortable one I have ever slept in despite my own quilt pillows and topper I had a very bad back and had to come home a day earlier

We stayed here for a visit to the river festival. Excellent location close to river, shops and boats etc. No need to move our car at all. Small studio but has all that is required. Only comment is it needs a bit of an update, fresh paint etc.
