This cosy apartment was great for our stay in alnmouth. A fantastic location right in the centre of the village with beautiful coastal walks right on the doorstep. The only thing that could be improved is the lack of equipment in the kitchen that are useful when cooking for five e.g. mixing bowls, baking/roasting trays/casserole dishes.

We enjoyed staying at the cottage. It was well equipped, good location and with being on ground floor good for my parents. One negative and not sure if toilet rolls are part of the package but we needed more. The information about the cottage does need updating as the book provided was not clear, in particular about the parking situation and also about what should go in the recycling refuse bins. The lady next door was a little upset initially when we arrived as we were unsure exactly where we could park our cars. Overall the cottage was nice and clean and if visiting the area again would happily stay there for a return visit.

Lovely place, let down by uncomfortable double bed mattress and settees. They look comfortable, but they're awkward to sit in and the TV is at 90 degrees to the settees.

The accommodation was excellent. It was very clean and a good size for 5/6 people. The location is fantastic. The River Alan Estuary is a wonderful area for wildlife and the changing tides bring a variety of stunning views. If you like walking, the coast provides and extensive variety of walks in different directions. The town is well located to visit a number of Northumberland's tourist attractions (tourist pamphlets can be found in the cottage). The town also has a good variety of eating establishments. If you are bringing young children, there is a good play park across the very quiet road. The beach also gives the family plenty of opportunities to build sand castles. It should be known that even paddling is not recommended at the beach due to strong unpredictable currents and quick changing tide level. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage, and would go back at a later point to visit more of the area.

Found settees and master bed difficult to get up from. Proximity of the beach is excellent. Will try to visit again in 2018.
