In a superb countryside location, next to acres of fields, these two delightful holiday cottages (refs PRRD and PRRE) stand side by side at the end of a lane, next to a large barn conversion. There are various local walks via bridleways and footpaths. Also close by is a lake within an SSSI area, where many birds and wildlife can be seen. As well as dogs, horses are also welcome by prior arrangement as there are fields adjoining both properties. The charming village of Ockley, a 10-minute walk, has a church, cricket green, four inns, various eateries and a farm shop. The market town of Horsham is a 15-minute drive, and Dorking, with its shops, restaurants, cafés and trains to London, is a 10-minute drive. Also near to Gatwick and Heathrow airports, and just 30 minutes’ drive to Brighton and the south coast. Explore the stunning Surrey Hills (AONB), discover picturesque villages such as Shere, Leith Hill or visit various NT properties and gardens. Places of interest include Polesden Lacey, Box Hill, Bocketts Far, Denbies Vineyard, Chessington World of Adventures, Hampton Court, Painshill Park, Clandon Park, Hatchlands Park, Wakehurst Place, Leonardslee and Nymans. Shop and pub ¼ mile.
