We had an absolutely wonderful week at Pottery Cottage. The cottage was spacious, clean and very welcoming, with everything you could want, even a dishwasher, which was a lovely touch for two ladies used to washing up by hand every night! We also found out on arrival the property had wifi which was quite handy for planning days out. The owners were friendly without being intrusive, and very considerate. We also enjoyed making friends with their lovely cats. The location was perfect for accessing so many great attractions, yet still so quiet, you'd never think you were all of 5 minutes from the A303. We visited Bristol Zoo, Wookey Hole, Lyme Regis and Golden Cap (a great find from one of the National Trust leaflets left by the owners - it's well worth the 'interesting' drive to get to the views), and Forde Abbey, none of which were more than an hour away. Overall we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Sue and her husband for a lovely stay.

Ideal location for reaching other parts of the area and other counties. Secluded and private, comfortable and the hosts were very nice people too.

A lovely cottage, which had everything you needed for a holiday. The owners, Barry and Susan, were very helpful and friendly. The only reason we have not given a score of ten is the size and layout of the shower room. One of the highlights of the stay was seeing goldfinches and a goldcrest on the Christmas tree outside the kitchen window.

We all had a great time. The cottage is in a great location and centre to a lot of interesting places in the area such as seafront, cider farms, Somerset train and beautiful landscape. The cottage is very cosy and family friendly. We enjoyed our evenings on the sofa reading (after the kids went to bed). We would definitely recommend the place and considering coming back another time.
