Beautiful, quaint, cosy, well equipped cottage, without doggie smells despite numerous dogs visiting in the past. Having no wifi or mobile phone connections was a problem as it was necessary for us to be in contact with home. If emergency services were needed it certainly would be a problem to get in touch with them. Unfortunately an envelope was left requesting money to cover the heating even though the week we stayed it was very warm & heating was not required. Instructions were left not to touch the pre set controls. Lots of places to explore and visit.

The cottage needs a new mattress _ not memory foam!

Had a fabulous week here while son was at cricket festival at King's College, Taunton. Idyllic cottage and setting deceptively close to city.

Idyllic location and wonderfully quiet. Not ideal for older less able visitors especially with no shower. The lack of broadband is a problem.

Lovely cottage in a lovely spot. Generally very good. Only negatives were : garden sun loungers were damp and dirty and could not be used and double bed not perfect. Other than these points the cottage was excellent.

Delightful cottage tastefully restored to 17th Century style with exposed beams ;dog really enjoyed the large garden and surrounding fields;Underfloor heating and easily lit woodburning stove made the cottage very warm and cosy even when "blowing a gale outside.Rooms very spacious and plenty of equipment in nicely laid out kitchen. Fairly close to good , dog friendly pub whose South African chef included various South African dishes on the menu. The Quantock hills are easily reachable by carWe hope to visit again

Potters cottage is in a fantastic location, out in the countryside with great views, the garden is really big which the dogs loved, inside the cottage there is a fantastic log fire which we had burning every night, there are some great walks from the cottage itself, I would definitely recommend this to others

Great location for walking, footpath to West Monkton runs behind the cottage, the dog had the best time ever.Although the garden is not enclosed you are not near the road. The photo's don't do the property justice. Sainsbury's deliver which was handy.Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
