This was our second week at Post Office Cottage and again we found it very comfortable and well equipped. We liked the welcome flowers and chocolates. The pub down the road serves good meals and beer.

We have stayed in over 15 cottages in the Peak district and this was by far the best, the kids loved the park just over the road and the owners personal touches were extremely thoughtful, loved the place and the only cottage were we may go again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Post Office Cottage. Lovely and comfy. Got a little cold on an evening but the heating was excellent and it took no time at all to warm up. Had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't score so high on local amenities was that apart from the excellent pub there wasn't anything nearby. This was not a problem to us though as we already knew this and would not deter us from staying here again - in fact it was a bonus!! Very helpful owners. Lovely big bath and shower. Would like to stay here again.
