Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Boasting amazing views along the coast straight from its gardens this barn conversion offers a true relaxing holiday.

These stylish and well fitted holiday barn conversions sit above the picturesque village of Boscastle and boast far reaching views along the coast and across the Atlantic from the gardens and picnic areas. Each cottage has been personally styled and has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with many thoughtful additions. The properties are bright and airy and whatever the season these cottages will appeal to those looking to explore Cornwall and in particular the North Coast with all its attractions. The cottages have two large lawn areas with picnic benches (one accessed via steps, two suitable for less mobile guests), which are ideal for evening barbecues or a morning cup of coffee. Boscastle is a short drive away with its shops, restaurants and historic harbour. Also close by is Tintagel, the mystical home of King Arthur. Further up the coast are the beaches at Crackington Haven and Bude which are ideal for surfers, and down the coast is the picturesque harbour village of Port Isaac which has been made famous by the TV series ’Doc Martin’. Also within an easy drive is Padstow, where you can take a walk or a cycle ride along the Camel Estuary to the market town of Wadebridge. You are ideally situated to visit the Eden Project and of course the unspoilt moorland of Bodmin Moor. Local Boscastle shops, restaurants, pubs and the garage are all less than 1 mile away.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

We've stayed in a lot of cottages over the years and this was definitely the cleanest - it was absolutely spotless. It is in a fairly remote location and you need to drive for everything, but we were well aware of that from the description given. The owners are onsite and very helpful. The only disappointment (apart from the dreadful weather!) was the lack of wi-fi. We don't come on holiday to use the internet particularly but several attractions offered discounts for advanced bookings which we were unable to do, despite this cottage claiming to have wi-fi. If we'd have arrived to find no fridge or washing machine despite what was advertised I would have expected a refund. It frustrates me greatly that the owners (and the website I booked it through) think that internet access should be different. This place is far from the only offender, but it is still very frustrating
