The cottage is in an excellent location offering a quiet and pleasant environment. Space has been well used and the bed was comfortable. For five days of our stay, however, we were without a properly functioning shower and nothing was done about this despite reporting the problem. Also, we were told that the garden was secure but had to improvise ways to block off holes and gaps in hedges and fences so that the dog could use the garden safely.

Cottage ideally situated, very peaceful & quiet, just what we were looking for. Ideal location for visiting some of our favourite haunts & plenty of nice eating places to indulge ourselves. Our hosts were very friendly & helpful. Would be nice to go back sometime!

Absolutely superb cottage. We took a lot of stuff with us but there was a lot of stuff already there. The owner brought us some milk and also sugar after our arrival. She didn't bother us at all after that. We came and went as we pleased. It was like a home from home. Extremely dog friendly in a great location within walking distance of Loch Earn and a few hotels. We didn't eat out as it was too expensive. We really enjoyed our time here and would defintely return.

A quirky, cosy, pretty cottage, made even prettier by the blossom on the plum tree. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wood burning stove in the cottage. There are lots of walks nearby, including dog friendly ones.

Fantastic little cottage, perfect location for hill walking. We were given a lovely warm welcome and enjoyed ever minute of our 3 night stay. Will definitely be returning every year after year!!

Plum Tree Cottage was extremely cosy and comfortable which was good as the weather was dreadful for all of the 4 days we were there. Our disappointment was with St Fillan's itself and the lack of amenities there. We were hoping to go for a meal out and as there are three hotels in the village we did not think this would be a problem. However, two of these are closed at this time of year and the third is undergoing some major refurbishment and will not re open till April, according to the sign on the door. So if you plan to go in January make sure you take plenty of provisions.

Lovely peaceful setting, set just back off main road so easy to access but not passing traffic.Very welcoming owner who made sure we were ok then left us to our three days of perfect peace and privacy. Very comfortable and cosy property. Orangery is a great feature and deserves to have more made of it. We were lucky enough to have heavy snow during our stay so the wood burner and the snowy mountains made everything perfect. Couple of very welcoming hotels nearby for food and drinks - even made out pup feel welcome - will certainly consider re-booking again soon.

We had a great weekend at Plum Tree Cottage . The owner was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge. We had our dog Jake with us and there was a good walk that runs along an old railway track behind the grounds of the house. The cottage was very comfortable and has everything you need. It is also set back from the road about 100 meters making it very peaceful. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage and look forward to returning in the near future.
