The facilities of the cottage were fine and we had a relaxing time enjoying walking along the local valleys and into the hills. The local pub was O.K. but the food seemed a bit pricey for what it was. There were few really local facilities - the nearest shop was some way away. But the holiday was marred by the speed and frequency of the local traffic trying to dodge the speed cameras on the A road.

Beutifully renovated, the pictures do not do it justice. In a perfect location for exploring the area. Owners very helpful.

Whilst we had a reasonably comfortable stay, we found the hot water not warm enough for a bath although it was ok for a shower. The heating was also preset and a little on the cool side for our liking. Having said all that the cottage was clean with some nice welcoming touches and we really liked the location.

Great cottage! Easy collection of the keys. The fire is lovely and the living area was great for the tree of us. Went for some lovely walk from the cottage door, and there are helpful suggestions and an OS map on the wall in the living room. There is a pub across the road, but we found the food a bit disappointing. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you.
