Lovely cottage, close to the beach and a short drive from Great Yarmouth. We felt very welcome on arrival and the coattage has lots of character and is well equipped. Whilst the cottage is not ideal for young children we took our two with us and had no problems.

although pippin cottage met all our needs and there were some nice touches a tv and remote that worked ,a welcome pack ,spacious modern kitchen and a lovely garden at the back it dissapointed on location and was cramped in places (stairs)

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback. Holidaymakers are advised regarding the stairs before booking we cannot alter this which is part of the bijou nature of a cottage. I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the location. I am unsure what you were disappointed with but other holidaymakers have raved about the location. There is coast walking available via the adjacent public footpath. The local village also has every facility including all takeaway restaurants, food, and dog friendly pubs which are all within walking distance. We do take all customer comments seriously and following customer feedback I have provided; an extra comfortable sofa, a 12 inch memory foam mattress, new fencing, roof repairs, garden clearance, etc. Thank you for the lovely comments which you left in our visitor’s book in the cottage.

Perfect little cottage for our weekend break. Owner left pastries, cakes and flowers for our arrival and Mac even had doggie treats! Lovely local dog walks down to Scratby beach. Cottage very clean and tidy and we'll equipped. Quaint enclosed garden....would be nice to see it in summer when in bloom though. Village facilities...Spar shop, dog friendly pub, Indian Restaurant, Chinese take-away and Fish and Chip shop. All in all.......a perfect base to explore The Broads and Norfolk. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Central heating controls were in the bedroom. Staircase very tight and needs all the grab rails.

Very quaint cottage, small and cozy, could do with some better kitchen utensils ie.... Potato masher and better kitchen knives, otherwise comfortable and warm. Stairs an issue in the night had to keep downstair light on in fear of falling down stairs, very narrow.

The owner made the cottage lovely for us - Christmas tree and everything. The cottage was very warm -( almost too warm) but very welcoming. The water gets a bit hot so that is the only thing to watch out for.
