Cottage was lovely apart from the very dated kitchen, old storage heaters and the very uncomfortable lower ground floor bedroom bed. Cleanliness was good apart from the windows which were very smeared. Location was quiet and a short walk to the shop and pub. There was nothing else in the village so was always a car journey to get about but not a problem. Recommendations: its nice to enter a warm place but it was like an oven when we arrived. A better heating solution is needed as the storage heater are all or nothing. Considering the price the kitchen needs replacing, it's not big so wouldnt take too much to do. All the furniture is old and mis matched. Unlike a lot of cottages we have rented there was no welcome note or package and no milk in the fridge (the small touches go a long way). I know all of this is personal taste but i believe everyone who stayed here would have a better experience if these changes were done. I would still stay again but only for the location and space and not for the quality of accommodation. And final point what a shame that we had to pay £300 more than a normal week just because it was school half term, greedy.

Wonderful stay at Pink Cottage warm and very comfortable. The cottage came up to our expectations in every way apart from one, we found that hot water was restricted, a bath is not an option but shower excellent.

A beautiful cottage, very well equipped and comfortable. The garden is lovely and a Sun trap. Our only issue was the heating. They gave night storage heaters which gave out loads of heat which was hard to control.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with our two young daughters. Norman was a pleasure to deal with and was on hand to help us or answer any questions. Wonderfull service. It isn't very baby friendly however my youngest is 20 months and was getting into everything! :)

We've already booked again for this year! A truely lovely cottage filled with charm and warmth. Norman ensures that everything is perfect from the moment you arrive. The only downfall is that you can't have a nice hot bath as the tank won't allow for enough hot water to fill more than a couple of inches of the bath, but the shower is electric so we showered instead. In all honesty, none of us wanted to leave!!
