Lovely house, really helpful people, great weekend had by all in this comfortable and well set out house. Only down side was we hadn't noticed that the deposit and fuel cost were not included in the initial price and need payed seperately.

We had a good stay. THE cottage was well equipped and with plenty of space. A couple of problems arose but the caretaker dealt with these as promptly as possible but we were inconvenienced without a dishwasher for a couple of days and the hot tub was out of action due to maintenance issues. That said, the house had everything we needed and was well located for lots of attractions in the area. Beds were very comfy and overall we had a really great stay.

Fantastic big house. Great for family get togethers. Comfy beds. Excellent for kids. Well equipped. Pool and jacuzzi are luxury extras. Kids were like prunes every day they were in it that much!! Plenty of space. Spacious gardens for dogs to run around in.

This house was amazing as were the surroundings and facilities. We were celebrating my 50th birthday and what a celebration we had throughout the whole week. The support from Jane and Alan was fantastic. I really don't want to recommend this gem as it will get booked up quicker we will definitely be planning a return to the house for a longer period maybe this time thank you so much. And to Gladys you were a welcome addition even though you might have scared my mum the spiders were more to be scared of than you were 😊😊😊😊

A lovely place to stay with ample living space, the grounds were exceptional when sat outside it was peaceful especially in the sunshine. The pool was a little cool and the hot tub was too hot but very nice altogether, my family loved it.

We warned our guests about the wriggly tin appearance of the house so that it wasn't such a shock, but when you take into account the history of the building you can forgive it. Please don't drive away, this house is beyond amazing inside. It feels very spacious, homely and relaxing with plenty of room to escape each other. The children loved the trampoline and the pool and the adults loved winding down in the hot tub at night. We hired the house for us all to stay in following our wedding at nearly Lindisfarne Castle. We had a bbq style reception in the garden. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, huge garden, plenty of car parking space. Caretakers fantastic - couldn't do enough to help us. We didn't want to leave and are already looking at returning.

Fantastic house and garden. Great place to celebrate our parents 70th. House looks poor from the outside but the inside is beautiful with comfortable furnishings and a large, we'll equipped kitchen and utility room. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Wouldn't hesitate in returning.

Really good house for a large family. Exterior needs painting but interior is nicely furnished with good sized bedrooms and excellent reception rooms . Pool and tub well used but jets in tub did not generate bubbles and pool flow did not seem as strong as it should be. Garden excellent and very large with swing and trampoline.

We had an excellent stay at Pinewood House - all 15 of us thoroughly enjoyed it and there was nothing that anyone could think of that would have enhanced the stay any further. Jane (caretaker) and Alan (garden/pool man) were ever so helpful - Alan even climbed a 25ft ladder to retrieve a kid's toy! Would love to return

We had a great holiday . Enjoyed the pool, trampoline, garden, comfy beds, coal fires and snug couches, space for us all, muddy bike rides at Harestanes and Glentress, walks in the woods. Thank you for the welcome goody basket and the fresh flowers
