Warm and welcoming, cosy comfortable cottage with nice decor. All the equipment you need plus books, games and on line tv streaming service. We went for Hogmanay (nearby Creggans Inn) and the owners had left us a Christmas tree, crackers and a cake. Cottage thoughtfully laid out. Plenty of outside space too, with balcony. Lovely morning views over Loch Fyne. Convenience of shop, post office and cafe opposite. The cottage is dog friendly and we took our westie with us. I'd have only two recommendations which would improve the stay - a fenced in garden with gate and an outside security light.

This cottage was in a very beautiful area only seconds from Loch Fynne. The cottage it self was well equipped and very spacious . We were lucky enough to have good weather and were able to make good use of the patio area and BBQ. It was really lovely in the mornings to sit in a conservatory watching the Loch and eating breakfast. I would advise taking plenty of food with you though as the little post office/shop opposite is well stocked but pricey. There was a pub restaurant within walking distance but again a little pricey.

We had a fantastic week at the Pinetrees.. The dog loved the beach & we loved the cottage.. Very comfortable beds, excellent kitchen & bathroom. My elderly Mother (87) was especially pleased with the layout of the Pinetrees, nothing is far away from anything else.

Except for the sliding patio door, which was very difficult to move and to lock. The previous owner of Pinetrees told us that it is a long standing fault. The rest was fine, see scors above.

This cottage was fantastic for our needs. It is in a beautiful location with many walks and picturesque areas to explore in the locality. The local wildlife is right on the doorstep. There are several restaurants within a short car journey, some of which are very reasonably priced, and dogs are allowed too! It's just unfortunate that the bistro directly opposite is no longer open in the evenings. The 2 conservatories are useful if the weather is not kind and the decking is wonderful if you're lucky enough (like us) when the sun shines. The facilities in the cottage are really good. There was nothing missing that we needed. As others have written, the garden isn't secure so dogs need to be supervised, which is probably the point, I expect. As the information states, there is no stand up shower but I did manage to sit in the bath for a shower. Our only gripe was that the cottage could have been cleaner, and we are not unusually house proud.

The cottage was in an excellent location but needed attention - it was not clean with crumbs on worktops and carpets. The grass had not been cut for months.

Lovely location, great view of Loch Fyne. Plenty of places to visit nearby - Inverary, Dunoon, Isle of Bute to name a few all around 20 miles or less with magnificent views along the way. It's a great area for walking, running and cycling or just enjoying the peace and quiet. The Clachan Bar is cosey and friendly, the Creggans is good for food but a bit pricey. The main thing that would improve the property would be a proper shower. Other than that it's excellent, lots of room for everyone, easy to use central heating, all the appliances like the fridge, freezer, washing machine all appear brand new and the TV with Netflix, You Tube great. The wi-fi is also very handy and was reliable.
