Ideal for walking the Brecon Beacons which was the focus of the trip. Well placed for the Powys and Camarthen tourist attractions but the work on the Heads of the Valleys road discouraged travel eastwards. Overall eminently suitable for our requirements.

Pine Lodge was cosy and very well equipped with plenty of room for 4 adults. Great location with fantastic scenery. Owners very helpful with information and locals really friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and hope for a return visit.

I'm giving full marks as it's a great place to stay - and I can't remember having as much fun as our hols here. The owners are great to deal with, very pleasant and didn't intrude on your privacy. We love this place and hope to visit again in future. The Three mobile network works great here and I was able to tether for internet access

A great location and a friendly owner. The cottage has good access for walking trails and cycling on sealed roads. A large town is only a few minutes away by car. We were two couples and cabin was roomy, a family of four would be comfortable too. The kitchen was big enough for Xmas cooking and the living room was spacious and bright. The only issue would be that the walls are very thin and any noise can be heard throughout the cabin.
