The cottage was small but perfectly adequate.A good location and very friendly and helpful caretakers. The only fault was there wasn't a casserole dish, so all in all a great place to stay.

IT was a wonderful holiday in Cornwall and Devon. We hat perfect walks offroad in Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor...in the Sun. But Piggery,as a stonecottage, has strong smelling cupbords 'cause of the wedness. The other houses on Tokenbury Manor maybe dry and cosy without bad smelling. Lin and her husband are very friends.

We spent a lovely week at the Piggery. It is an idyllic little cottage - perfect size for the two of us. The setting is absolutely beautiful, very very quiet and completely out of the way - if you're looking for activities in walking distance (other than country walks...) you'll be disappointed. Only a couple of tiny criticisms - having only 2 or 3 of everything (plates, mugs etc) is a bit annoying - I know there was only 2 of us, but it meant constant washing up. I'm not someone to leave dirty washing overnight, but to at least be able to have a sandwich at lunch and then wash the plates up at the end of the day with the dinner stuff would have been useful. The sofas are really uncomfortable! The headrest pushes your head forward and gives a terrible sitting position. These are tiny things I know and we loved the rest of our week - we'd definitely recommend staying there and if it weren't for the impending arrival of our first child we'd be back very soon (they don't allow kids under 5!).

Lovely property. Ideal for branching out North South East West. Set in a lovely scene and handy for the Victoria Pub in the village. would definitely return.
