Lovely cottage set in beautiful grounds, with fantastic views and a peaceful ambiance. A bit of maintenance needed: the ensuite shower is sticky taped together and suddenly flies around like wild snakes let loose from a gorgon's head wetting the whole bathroom if someone else uses another tap in the house at the same time. Velcro-ed down carpet strip in beween lounge and dining room major trip hazard as it is bent and keeps coming up, tripping up those who are not looking down. Apart for maintenance issues the stay was excellent and hosts very friendly and helpful.

Perfect base for our working week in Dundee. Very comfortable with most everything we needed - with the exception of wifi.

The location is good ,we had a lot of issues with the heating /hot water and were without this for 6 days in total of 14 days .luckily there was an electric shower or we would on cold showers . The weather was still cool and we had electric oil towers which did not heat the place only if you were next to them To be fair they tried hard to get this fixed and were very helpful . There was no equipment to clean the place and a vacuum cleaner or brush would be handy . The furniture and comfort were good and high quality . The place also needs a removal of the cobwebs that were there for a while just to look better . Overall it is a nice place but the boiler issue was a real downer for us

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner: I am so sorry the problem with the heating spoiled your stay at Philip's cottage. I am pleased to say that the boiler has been repaired and is working well once again.
