We had a great time at Pheasants Folly. Lovely place, with the donkeys, horses, chickens and great pub 20 mins walk away. The owners were lovely and we had a very pleasant couple of days there over Easter. The cottage was very well stocked with all the basics, and we enjoyed lighting the wood burner. We also bought some lovely fresh eggs. The only thing I would say was that I imagined the cottage would be set apart from the owners' house as the photos don't show that it is right next to it. This is no reflection on the owners or the lovely cottage - I was just worried that our puppy's barking might disturb them, which meant that I couldn't relax 100% as I was always trying to keep her quiet!

Booked this up at the last minute. It's a lovely cottage in nice grounds and was well equipped. It was spotlessly clean even though they allow dogs but we wouldn't have even known. It's deceptively spacious and has a great walk in shower.A basket of logs was left for us for the fire but it's a warm cottage anyway. We just turned the heating down and lit it! The owners live next door but are not obtrusive at all and are really friendly. The cottage is probably 5-10 minutes drive up the lanes from the A39 but it's within easy reach of Watchet,Dunster and Exmoor NP.It's a pity the little pub at Kilve has closed as they did great broth and the beach there with it's unusual rock formation when the tide is out is superb! Will definitely return to this cottage.

A stunning, idyllic cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage was very well equipped, extremely comfortable and very clean. An amazing setting surrounded by horses, chickens, donkeys, beautiful gardens and 2 friendly dogs! The owner was on hand to answer any questions and was knowledgeable about the area. We had a lovely few days - thank you.

Very comfortable accommodation. Tracey & Graham very helpful. Slight downside was that the single lanes approaching the property a bit hair raising driving and would not able to walk anywhere.
