A brilliant stay made all the better by the owners, they even came out with a torch to guide us into the cottage as due to the fog we had missed the entrance twice.

Property was smaller than it looked in the pictures and so felt very cramped for two couples and two dogs. Would be fine for a coupke and kne dog though. Also there's nothing in walking distance except one pub and we were told this would be closed the week of our stay after we'd booked.

This cottage is in a lovely location and is very home from home, the owners were welcoming and left cakes, Tea, Coffee and milk on arrival. There is a log burner that made the cold nights cosy. The New Inn in Brampton served lovely food along with the Stag Inn in Dufton
