This is a really lovely cottage and we greatly enjoyed our stay. We were two families (three adults and four children, aged 5-10) and the house was warm, spacious and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by the local caretaker and had no difficulties that required us to contact her during our stay. The description of the cottage is accurate and so we were well prepared, including for its (very few) shortcomings, i.e. only one bathroom and no internet. The location was ideal - the Reidol valley is beautiful and there are wonderful views from the cottage. Aberystwyth is a lovely town and only 15 minutes drive away (we made frequent use of its Morrisons supermarket, which was very easy to find and get to.) There is lots to see and do in the surrounding area - beaches, walks, the steam railway, Strata Florida Abbey etc. It was great having two living rooms, one of which became a play room for the kids. The dining room was a lovely place to gather and enjoy an evening meal together. The kitchen is small but well equipped. If I could suggest one improvement it would be to have a few more large pots and pans. Cooking for seven people wasn't always easy with what was available. Overall, though, we had a great time and I would recommend this cottage.

Our second time at this cottage. Its location is excellent with beautiful views of the valley and local walking/ mountain biking and pubs. Would be good to have wifi?
