Pennant Cottage is idyllic. Care needed to walk through some doors! Overall, a quintessential North Pembrokeshire cottage. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was beautiful - full of character! The owner was thoughtful and attentive - phoned to make sure everything was ok and then to say goodbye and wish us a safe journey. There were a couple of minor maintenance problems which were sorted out quickly and efficiently. When this was being done Barbara noticed that a rack for toiletries would be useful to put our shower gels etc in and put one up! The cottage is so carefully and tastefully furnished with beautiful pictures etc., but is also very practical with everything possible provided. All cutlery, glassware, crockery is of excellent quality; bed comfortable and everything spotlessly clean. Barbara came half way through our stay and changed the sheets and gave us fresh towels. The cottage had spectacular views over the river Tefi and St Dogmael's Abbey. The literature stated that the cottage had 'views over the estuary and out to sea' which wasn't actually the case and that was the only disappointment.

We had a wonderful stay at Pennant Cottage.Extremely well equipped - particularly the kitchen more so than any cottage we have stayed in. Very charming and comfortable which is why we stayed in most evenings after we were out walking all day. The cottage is in a lovely very friendly village and perfect for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. Our only negative is the low ceiling in the bedroom - a few banged heads! But that said we will return after having such a great holiday.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review of the cottage. It was lovely to meet you and I am pleased that you had a relaxing time and enjoyed the cottage and found everything you needed was provided throughout your stay. Thank you for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy on departure. Yes, there are some low beams in the bedroom, however this is clearly shown on the photographs and mentioned in the property description.
