The owners, Zoe and Mark, live next door and were extremely helpful. They welcomed us in as we pulled up on arrival, gave us advice on local amenities (which are excellent), and showed us round the house to make sure we knew where everything is and how it works. The house itself is wonderfully done, and was also very toddler friendly for our 17 month old - though we did have to turn off the oven and move the speakers behind the TV! Fantastic house in a fantastic location, with fantastic owners. Recommended.

Penn An Vowder was ideally situated for touring around the south of cornwall which we really enjoyed. We were unfortunate with some of the weather but we still managed to do what we had planned. There are some amazing sights to see for anyone visiting the southern part of cornwall.

Fabulous accommodation and great owners who gave us such a warm welcome and lovely cream teas! The choice of dvds was amazing and the kids were able to use the buckets and spades that were stored outside at the beach, great park just a street away and could walk into Falmouth too, would recommend to anyone, and a bonus if your travelling with little ones the outside area is closed off 😊

We enjoyed staying at Penn an Vownder . It was lovely to have the owners next door. They were very helpful with information about places to visit and transport. We didn't have our own transport so found the ferries and buses useful for visiting National Trust properties.

Very comfortable & well-equipped accommodation - there's not much they haven't thought of! Friendly & helpful host. Our only suggestion, as a benefit to guests who may be a little unsteady on their feet, an additional handrail on the stairs and a grab handle in the shower would be useful.
