Stunning views towards Pendle Hill home of the Lancashire Witches, from this charming cottage with beams, beautiful walks close by.

Forming part of the owner’s 19th-century farmhouse, Pendle View is a welcoming and comfortable holiday cottage with a private terrace and stunning views over Pendle Hill and the surrounding Lancashire countryside. Accessed via a private track and located on the outskirts of the pretty little village of Barley, it is very well located for exploring the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. Walkers and cyclists are well catered for and Clitheroe with its Norman castle is close by, with shops, bars and restaurants. The Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the north west coast can all be reached in under an hour by car. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

2 steps to entrance. All on ground floor: Living room with sofa bed/ kitchen with breakfast area. 1 double bedroom with French doors and en-suite shower room with toilet. Beams and wooden floor throughout.

Absolutely stunning place. The most relaxing weekend I've ever had. Everything you need for the stay! Lovely dogs. The best view to enjoy your morning coffee from bed to and lots of friendly sheep. Stunning stunning views, lovely walk up the hill, cafe, park, pubs, farm shops all within 5 min walk. Tesco is only a short drive in the car also to stock up for the weekend too! Can't thank you enough, really recharged us!

We couldn't have asked for more - privacy, comfort and spectacular views across towards Pendle Hill and surrounding countryside. The welcome pack was a real bonus as was the use of a good radio and a well heated shower room. As stated, the cottage is intended principally for 2 people, but the sofa bed was quite comfortable enough for our adult son to spend a night with us. Ideal for a relaxing break, though not too isolated.

Very peaceful location - small village walking distance and quick and easy access to Colne and Clitheroe for shopping by car. We unfortunately had a lot of rain that curtailed walking in the hills locally. Cottage warm and cosy - great views when not shrouded in cloud
