Stunning views towards Pendle Hill home of the Lancashire Witches, from this charming cottage with beams, beautiful walks close by.

Forming part of the owner’s 19th-century farmhouse, Pendle View is a welcoming and comfortable holiday cottage with a private terrace and stunning views over Pendle Hill and the surrounding Lancashire countryside. Accessed via a private track and located on the outskirts of the pretty little village of Barley, it is very well located for exploring the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. Walkers and cyclists are well catered for and Clitheroe with its Norman castle is close by, with shops, bars and restaurants. The Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the north west coast can all be reached in under an hour by car. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

2 steps to entrance. All on ground floor: Living room with sofa bed/ kitchen with breakfast area. 1 double bedroom with French doors and en-suite shower room with toilet. Beams and wooden floor throughout.

Oil central heating included (£30per week, £20 per short break October-April). Electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot. High chair. Freeview TV. Electric cooker. Microwave. We couldn't have asked for more - privacy, comfort and spectacular views across towards Pendle Hill and surrounding countryside. The welcome pack was a real bonus as was the use of a good radio and a well heated shower room. As stated, the cottage is intended principally for 2 people, but the sofa bed was quite comfortable enough for our adult son to spend a night with us. Ideal for a relaxing break, though not too isolated.

Very peaceful location - small village walking distance and quick and easy access to Colne and Clitheroe for shopping by car. We unfortunately had a lot of rain that curtailed walking in the hills locally. Cottage warm and cosy - great views when not shrouded in cloud

Property nice but very small, only place for TV is on the wall.

A beautiful little cottage with an awe inspiring view of Pendle Hill. Very well equiped and we liked the modernity of it.

Beautiful retreat, stunning views and hospitable owners. I visited Pendle View with my boyfriend but have in the past booked cottages on my own for a couple of days as a walking break or escape! This is perfect for that purpose and safe. This is an ideal location if your looking to just get away from it all. Bright and airy, great shower and lovely bedroom that opens out to Pendle Hill. If you venture out, would recommend the local Pendle arms, 5 minutes drive, lovely traditional food and the drive out towards Clitheroe is beautiful. This aside, I would return simply to see Martha (the family lab) who greets you in the morning when you wake up and is the most lovable, friendly dog you could meet. A real selling point in my view!

Simply stunning - a real home from home. The parking was ten steps from the front door. The cottage turned our routine family visit into a delight.
