Had a really great time. There were a few things that we would have liked i.e. better chairs at the breakfast bar as we like to play cards etc & that was the only place to play & they weren't at all comfortable. Some way to secure the bottom part of the stable door, we had to put a shoe against it to stop it coming open which rather defeats the object. Bed very comfortable, shower amazing. overall location beautiful. we would go again.

Absolutely stunning place. The most relaxing weekend I've ever had. Everything you need for the stay! Lovely dogs. The best view to enjoy your morning coffee from bed to and lots of friendly sheep. Stunning stunning views, lovely walk up the hill, cafe, park, pubs, farm shops all within 5 min walk. Tesco is only a short drive in the car also to stock up for the weekend too! Can't thank you enough, really recharged us!

We couldn't have asked for more - privacy, comfort and spectacular views across towards Pendle Hill and surrounding countryside. The welcome pack was a real bonus as was the use of a good radio and a well heated shower room. As stated, the cottage is intended principally for 2 people, but the sofa bed was quite comfortable enough for our adult son to spend a night with us. Ideal for a relaxing break, though not too isolated.
