No proper sitting area. Way too small. Extremely Tiny TV No mobile reception. No wifi. Literally nothing to do in the cottage. Too unpleasant an environment to even stimulate talking to each other.

Great location but let down by tired décor and general shabbiness. First impression as we arrived was of untidy and unswept exterior. On entering the property smelled dank. Photos online looked great but property was furnished with a collection of outdated bits and pieces, e.g. dusty dried flower arrangement in bedroom. Mirror in bedroom covered n dust. Not much in the way of crockery. Bed felt linen felt fresh however towels not very nice. The shower and toilet were unpleasant with very noisy septic tank arrangement which made the toilet 'roar' during the night. Would surely have been scary for any children staying in the adjacent bedroom which was dark (2 small high up windows) and dank smelling. Lots of airfresheners and rags dotted around by the toilet. Evidence of previous occupants included crumbs on floor and fridge hadn't been wiped out. Unnecessarily cramped living space due to large dining table and 4 chairs which didn't fit under the table which took up a lot of room. With a clear out of 'stuff' and a good clean this could be lovely. Doesn't seem to be affecting the bookings though! Did notice the guest book had lots of half pages which had been cut out. Looked like any negative comments had been disposed of! We paid for 3 nights but left after 1. Loved the views!

Absolutely beautiful location with panoramic views @ the rear of the property. The car parking should be addressed, advert states room for 3 cars, yes OK if they are all the size of a Mini. Lots of junk stored in the outside yard which hadn't had a brush put to it in a long long time! The cottage unfortunately was not very clean inside with collected dust everywhere. Kitchen equipment i.e. cooker & work surfaces just had a once-over wipe with a damp cloth leaving dirty smeared surfaces. Bedrooms were not much better, beds comfortable enough, but dirt & dust everywhere. The shower doors need adjustment with some grab rails installed for safety. The proprietor needs to alter the water pumping system, there is an infernal noise day & night from the electric pumping system which badly affected Sleep during the dark hours & incidently is paid for by the visitor/s through a £1. slot machine! This is archaic, the meter only registered a credit when a £1. coin was inserted, with no indication of duration or when the next instalment was due! This property had not been inspected by your agents in a long time! Or if it has, I suggest you remove the dark glasses!
