Really lovely family holiday, very relaxed and comfortable place to stay. Only thing that was disappointing was for my mother-in-law the agar wasn't on so she couldn't use it and that the fire wasn't a real log burner other than this very pleasant stay

Great holiday cottage for a group or family set on a farm in the country. Quiet and either a good base for sightseeing (car needed) or just relaxing. Lots of activities in the cottage for wet days in. We rarely saw the hosts but when we did they were very friendly and helpful. Not walking distance to any venues but close to a village with a lovely pub with good restaurant food.

We enjoyed our two week stay in Pen y Fedw. The farmhouse, which is about 200 years old, is somewhat old-fashioned, but comfortably furnished. What one hardly experiences today: not a piece of furniture from Ikea - wonderful! The house is located directly on a farm. The very friendly landlords live in the house opposite. The view of the countryside of Camarthenshire is beautiful. In the surroundings there is much to discover (castles, coastal walks, gardens, pretty places). The only drawback: nothing can be done without a car. We like to come back!
