Lodge was beautiful, lovely and clean, well furnished and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Location was amazing with wonderful views and walks (perfect for the dog). Very quiet area, with very little traffic around. We had the most relaxing Christmas and the added bonus of the hot tub was the perfect way to spend Christmas morning.

Booked this break for a friends 25th birthday and none of us knew what to expect given that we had never booked anywhere like this before. We got a little lost finding the cottage but Helen, the owner was extremely helpful and even offered to come find us. When we arrived, we were more than pleasantly surprised - for what we paid we expected a few faults but the whole stay was completely faultless. It was very clean, very cosy and overall fantastic!!! We have all said we cannot wait to go back and are already discussing what excuse we can use for the next time. The only fault any of us could find was that there are no pictures online of the amazing hot tub, which is a shame as it makes the cottage even better (we didn't think that was possible) therefore I have uploaded our favourite hot tub photo and I hope this helps others book this brilliant cottage. Thank you Helen!

Wow , what a place and location to chill & relax. We took so much stuff extra towles, the dogs bed and didn't need it. Everything catered for. Fantastic walks so peaceful there and the views are stunning. During our stay of 4 nights we only saw 6 people and about 10 cars. The hot tub was superb ready to use from the minute we arrived. We were met by Helen and showed how things worked by her mum. Lovely people, Nothing to much trouble. Recommend: follow Offal's dyke downhill though the fields to Discoed, there you will find a stream. Breath taking scenery.

My partner and I stayed in Pen y Clawdd for a week with our dog! The location is beautiful, very peaceful and scenic and great for long country walks. The lodge itself is comfortable, has plenty of space and is very well equipped we couldn't have asked for more. Not forgetting the hot tub - a great bonus for our holiday to relax in the evenings. It was perfect and hope to go back again in the future!

Had a fantastic stay here, just what we needed to escape. The children loved it especially the hot tub. Helen was the perfect host so to speak and answered any questions. Would thoroughly recommend
