We were made very welcome, the cottage had everything we needed. The milk and Welsh cakes were most welcome. Great location for exploring South Wales. Loved sitting at the dining table and looking out to the hills across the Valley with the changing views, saw several rainbows over the week. We did have some dry weather, but mostly sunshine and showers that's what makes Wales so green and beautiful.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 weeks at Penybryn. The accommodation was lovely and very peaceful with a beautiful open outlook, just what we wanted. Debbie and her husband were very helpful with information on local places to visit, and although living in the accommodation above us, left us to our own devices and were not intrusive in any way, but were there if needed. If you have the good fortune to stay at Penybryn be sure to visit the lovely shop in Llandeilo which sells ice cream, I think it was called 'Heavenly', and heavenly it certainly was! We would not hesitate to recommend Penybryn to anyone wishing to stay in such a beautiful and peaceful part of Wales. The Plough Inn on the way to Llandeilo serves lovely food, you will not be disappointed.
