A cosy cottage with open fire in an attractive hamlet close to the University of Bangor. Well placed for exploring North Wales.

The attractive hamlet of Minffordd sits a 20 minute walk above the university city of Bangor and is ideally located for walkers and tourists. Llanberis is a 10-15 minute drive; beaches, castles and many of North Wales’ attractions are within a short drive, including Snowdon, Anglesey, Caernarfon, Llandudno and Conwy. Bangor has some good eating places, bars, art galleries, cinema and cathedral. Shops and pubs 2 miles.

Lower ground floor: Dining room. Kitchen. Steep, narrow slate stairs to ground floor: Living room. 1 double bedroom. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk (for alternative sleeping).

Lovely cottage and the owners have done a fantastic job of providing everything that you would want in your own kitchen. The only thing we would improve would be better to reception as only a few channels work. Thank you for a lovely holiday :-)

I was visiting the area to see relatives, and had a very nice stay. The cottage is extremely comfortable and clean.

Cottage was lovely and would happily return. Did think it was quite expensive though, but we were only 2 in a cottage big enough for 6. Shared between 6 I guess it wouldn't have seemed so dear.

The cottage was fairly well equipped although having new dish clothes and scourers would be good and an inexpensive improvement for a weekend stay. There was only a drop of washing up liquid another item that you wouldn't want to bring down for a weekend.
