This a great property with everything a couple could want. It is open plan so if one person wants to sit up and watch TV the other will be disturbed - not a complaint just worth mentioning. The owners are excellent and the wee cakes and bottle of red wine where very much appreciated. Not much in the village but it is s good location to get to other places, assuming you have a car. Great place to just kick back and relax.

Beautiful cottage, very well appointed and tastefully decorated. Ideally situated for the northern lakes area.

We had a wonderful stay here Liz and Ian where very helpful with local information and great at making us feel at home. Great little village with an amazing pub a stones though away from the cottage, easy to access from the main roads and close to great places like Penrith and keswick. Plenty to do and see would really recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a gorgeous cosy cottage (great log fire) in a great location who like to explore surrounding places. Plenty of castles and places to visit. Hope to return.

Have been here 4 times now and still love it, set in a lovely quiet village near ullswater lake and easy to drive to other areas of the Lake District. Would highly recommend!
