In a truly tranquil and peaceful setting this cluster of three cottages has been converted from a 450 year old granary within 75 acres of farmland, where guests are warmly welcomed to roam. The Granary was originally built using handmade bricks, which previously served as ballast in coal-ships trading between the continent and the River Tyne. Each cottage oozes charm with their exposed beams and leather chesterfields, and all bedrooms enjoy the convenience of en-suite facilities. A heavily stocked fish pond is close by and a large, natural pond attracts an abundance of wildlife - a haven for relaxation! Tucked in a rural location, Peigh (pronounced "pea") Hills Farm Cottages can be booked individually or collectively to accommodate extended parties and sit just over one mile from the A.1, giving easy access to explore the many delights across Northumberland.
Ground Floor: The property has oil fired central heating and comprises: Kitchen/dining area: with quarry tiles, electric oven and hob, microwave, combined fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Lounge: Tastefully furnished lounge with Digitial T.V. and video. Conservatory: Private conservatory accessed from the lounge and over looking the lake.
First Floor: Bedroom 1: With 6’ bed and en suite with bath, WC and basin. Bedroom 2: With twin beds, plus single camp bed available (with bed linen available request on booking) and en-suite with shower, WC and basin.
All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. Cot available.Outside: Access to shared garden. Off road parking. NB: Ponds in the garden.
