We booked this pretty last minute for a snowboarding Weekend, excellent location, no central heating so was abit nippy whilst the fire got going but once that was on it was OK, the heaters were abit useless but again you have the fire so not a big concern. The pass for the Dalfaber golf club was awesome as I was achy from boarding but I used that for the steam room, lovely! The only thing that majorly bothered me was in the top bedroom there is two flimsy shelves above your head in bed, personally wasn't a fan as I kept thinking they were going to fall on me however all in all an oright place, close to the brewery too :)

We stayed at Pebble Cottage for the Easter week. When we arrived and parked at the front of the property I was dismayed to see how dirty the windows at the front were, with cobwebs stuck around the frames and was concerned inside the house might be similar. This may seem trivial however always remember that first impressions count. However inside the property was spotless. With it being so open plan it would be difficult to heat and at times the property was on the cool side, especially in the mornings. The heater in the front downstairs bedroom was far superior to the Economy 7 type heater in the living room, which was quite inadequate. The complimentary beer and shortbread was a lovely touch and the kitchen was very well equipped. We did use the corporate membership for the Dalaber Golf and Country Club. On the Sunday evening we had gone over to order dinner, however we were asked had we booked a table, which we hadn't, and we were told they were fully booked all evening which seemed strange since the dining room was half empty and remained so the rest of the night. We queried the booking system with reception who told us booking was not necessary as the managers had changed it to a first come first served basis. You have to ask is management running the resort or the bar staff who seemed to make their own rules??? Another day we wanted to go for a swim at the resort however when we got to reception we were told they had no towels left and were not sure when they would have more in!! All in all we did enjoy our week in the cottage and Aviemore is still as magical as ever. We would return to Pebble Cottage again but in the warmer months.

I enjoyed my holiday there. we love the Aviemore area. However, we have been there for the last few holidays, and we normally travel as a larger family group. Pebble cotteage would therefore be too small for our needs.

This was a lovely modern property situatated within a pleasant walk from the centre of Aviemore. It was very clean and well equipped, I particularly liked the conservatory it was light, airy and toasty with the sunlight on it. The let down for me was the beds. I found them very uncomfortable, so much so I had terrible backache. I tried a different bed but same problem (not something I suffer from).

The house was clean and well equipped but for us it was unsuitable .The bedroom upstairs was without a wall and floors were creaky so noise was a problem ! It was cold while we were there and heating was in adequate .The downstairs bunk was extremely noisy ! Aviemore is a lovely place and the cottage in convenient for the town and surrounding area ,
