Visit Glastonbury or the small city of Wells as you stay in this comfortable lodge with great surrounding views.

Situated on a traditional family farm with a small beef herd, this group of single-storey barns has been sympathetically converted to form four contemporary, detached holiday cottages. Baby Barrow (ref 28997) is very light and spacious, with high ceilings and beams throughout. Barrow Farm Barn (ref 24826) retains original beams throughout and overlooks 2½ acres of orchard. Pear Lodge (ref 29428) and Apple Lodge (ref 29429) feature underfloor heating and large bi-fold doors to take full advantage of the view and open space. They are located just 5 miles from the historical town of Glastonbury, famous for its abbey, tor, music festival and mythical legends. The small city of Wells is 3 miles, with its cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and medieval cobbled street. The Bath and West Showground nearby features many events and exhibitions throughout the year. The Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills are ideal for cyclists, walkers and nature lovers. There is a chicken coop outside all properties where you can help yourself to fresh eggs. There are also two travel cots shared between the four properties. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile. Properties 24826, 28997, 29428 and 29429 can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with bi-fold doors. 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

Fantastic lodge. Really clean and comfortable with all the mod cons. Excellent position for exploring surrounding areas of interest. Really peaceful and enjoyed feeding the donkeys and helping ourselves to fresh eggs! Definitely on our return list!

A fantastic place to stay. We all loved Pear Lodge (2 adults and 2 children aged 5 & 8), it is in a great location for visiting local attractions such as Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat etc and we would love to return. The kids really enjoyed collecting eggs every day, feeding the donkeys and the tractor ride. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the lodge was spotless and had everything you could need for a home from home.

Had a fantastic break. Lovely accommodation, clean and comfortable in a beautiful location. Perfect family holiday. The kids had the best time, enjoying tractor rides, feeding the donkeys and collecting eggs for breakfast. I can't think of a bad word to say about this accommodation and the hospitality of the owners. A truly wonderful place where I will hopefully revisit. Will and have recommended to friends and family.

We were only staying here for 4 nights but it was a fabulous time. The lodge is wonderful, the children loved it, especially checking the chickens for eggs every 10 minutes! The owners are also wonderful and made us feel very welcome and spoilt the kids. Loved the big bi-fold doors and the under-floor heating was LOVELY to come home to. Also great location, near so many attractions and places to visit. Really want to stay again!

Fantastic property!! We were made very welcome by the host. On arrival there was a bottle of wine, milk and fresh egg laid by their very own chickens. This property is even better than we expected, the level of finish is superb, the furniture and equipment was all a very high standard and well looked after. In a stunning rural location but not far from the main towns. I can not recommend this property enough, I hope to visit again in the near future.
