This cottage was is a great, peaceful location, within easy reach of all relevant attractions. The gite itself was large and comfortable however, although made clear at the time of booking, the lack of TV/Sky and Wifi in such a remote area was disappointing, especially when the weather is poor and if you have children to entertain. Some of the kitchen equipment was also disappointing as there is only a tiny combination over and micro-wave so cooking for more than 2 people is very difficult and the knives etc are very poor quality. Having said that, the cost is very reasonable (although there is an additional heating cost to be paid) and if you intend to eat out and be visiting attractions, then this is a clean, spacious and relaxing place to stay.

Roomy gite with big kitchen and comfortable lounge. Two good bedrooms but one small room only suitable for a child because of sloping ceiling. Very big open garden area with outbuildings, not for use by guests. Donkeys and chickens for children to see. Very quiet area with nearest boulangerie about ten minutes drive. Supermarket about fifteen minutes. Nice leisure lake about fifteen minutes as well. Gite would benefit from having a bigger fridge, Wi-Fi and TV as gite is quite remote.
