The towns of Bridport, Dorchester and Weymouth are all a short drive, along with the many chocolate box villages dotted along the coast. Shops ½ mile, pub in village.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin both with beams. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Nice, spacious cottage, rural setting, with occasionally rural smells. The kitchen appliances are fairly basic and especially the pots & pans could do with an improvement. Otherwise a pleasant, quiet setting and a garden with a good sunny position. In this day and age wifi would be nice, but who's complaining.

Lovely location, bungalow and views. Beds uncomfortable. TV reception not good (take some DVDs). Step up into master bedroom, not good for disabled. Shower not easy for disabled to get into, but once in, shower is great! Bungalow is good, but needs updating.

Parlour Cottage makes a good dog friendly base to stay enabling visits to Bournemouth, Weymouth, Bridport etc. as well as the local villages. Abbotsbury Gardens worth a visit and you can also take a dog here as well. The cottage has had a very good conversion to make it a warm friendly place yet very quiet if thats what you want
