Awesome holiday. Location was amazing and exactly what we wanted. Walk right from the door. The drive upto the cottage was tricky but just made the coming back to the house more interesting. Only downside I would say was the state of the oven dishes and grill-pan. Not very pleasant at all.

Whilst the location is idyllic the farm track leading to the cottage is difficult terrain in wet conditions. My Ford Kuga just about coped, but Father's Renault Clio got stuck on the lower section. I suspect that this problem is only evident in wet conditions? We did have a problem with the water, but the owner came out straight away and made repairs as necessary. The heating is good and the log burner very efficient. The information/instructions were minimal and we would have benefitted from some detail as to how to work the TV. Refuse collection appeared spasmodic and we had to leave all bins full. The peace, quiet, surroundings, views and access to good walking are all positives. I thought it could do with a good Spring clean.
