Visit the popular resort of Sandown from this apartment, ideal for small families to enjoy the various holiday attractions.

These beautifully appointed ground floor holiday apartments (refs 29781 and 29782) offer extremely comfortable and well-presented accommodation, and are ideally situated, just a 5-minute walk from Shanklin’s lovely golden sandy beach, accessed via a cliff side lift. There is so much to do in this popular resort which flows around into Sandown, with seaside amusements, putting, crazy golf, a zoo, pier, leisure centre with indoor pool and many restaurants, cafés and bars along the waterfront. Discover numerous attractions for all ages on this lovely sunny island, with its many historical houses, beautiful gardens and scenic walks along the heritage coastline. Outdoor pursuits include scenic walking, riding, fishing, cycling, water sports and golf. The island can be explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points. Shop ½ mile, pub/restaurant 50 yards. These properties can be booked together with Beatrice Cottage (UK1237), ½ mile away, to accommodate up to 13 guests.

All on the ground floor:
Living room: With satellite TV, DVD player, iPod dock and CD player.
Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Bedroom 2: With bunk bed (for children).
Bathroom: With shower over bath, and toilet.

Both properties: Gas central heating (in winter controlled by owner), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Small, lawned area. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only.

    Great base for a holiday to explore the island. Andy was great in meeting us, offering advice etc Accommodation is pretty spacious and worked well for us as a family of four. Nice run/walk along the cliff path.

    The owner Andy was very helpful & welcoming and the accommodation was clean and well equipped. Good location, close to both the beach & Shanklin High Street and provided a great base for exploring the Isle of Wight. We would certainly stay here again.

    So pleased with our choice of accommodation. We received a very warm welcome from Andy on arrival who remained helpful and available throughout our stay. Very clean and spacious apartment which was private / quiet and just what we were looking for. The location is great for the beach, a 10 min walk or 2 mins in lift (charge applies), with several bars / restaurants on the esplanade to choose from (head right from lift). We would certainly recommend to families and couples alike as the resort of Shanklin is very family friendly and sandy beaches etc. We will certainly be returning thanks Andy for making our break stress free and see you again soon!
